FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who reviews grant proposals?

All grant proposals are reviewed by the foundation staff and a panel of outside experts.  The panel’s recommendations are forwarded to the program committee of the board of directors for discussion.  The committee’s recommendations are then discussed at one of the quarterly full board meetings.  The board reviews the committee’s recommendations and casts a final vote, either accepting or rejecting a grant application.
